DANZIG

Danzig is a young male cat who has had a rough life. He was brought in from outside and seemed to have an old injury which left him with his head permanently tilted to one side. This does not seem to effect Danzig at all. He is absolutely adorable! Danzig LOVES other cats and is constantly head butting all his feline friends. He is getting used to people but will make a perfect companion for a lonely kitty!

NEUMAN

Neuman is a sweet boy who purrs as soon as you scratch his head. He loves to sit on laps and is a very gentle and affectionate fellow. Neuman is only 2 years old and was abandoned outside of the shelter. You honestly can't get a better cat than this guy! He is FIV+ (the equivalent to human HIV) but that is not a death sentence. FIV+ cats can live long healthy lives, especiall;y when kept indoors - it is simply their immune system which is more sensitive to outside germs. And don't worry, this is also not contagious to people or dogs.This boy is a lover, not a fighter, and needs permanent lap to sit on. !

SASI

Sasi was surrendered to another shelter when her owner went into the hospital. She is currently in foster with one of our staff members and her foster Mom reports that she is just the cutest thing! Sasi loves to be dressed up in her little coat to go outside for a walk, and lives nicely with the other 4 dogs in the house. She would love to find a new permanent home where she can just cuddle right into her new owner's lap!

KRISSY

Once you see this little one, your heart will melt! Krissy is a 10 year old Chihuahua with just one eye! We're not sure what happened to her, but we do know that she was found on a construction site in Manhattan. This little wee one is as sweet as pie, although she is freightened at the shelter. Please give this girl a home for Christmas!

FLUFFY

Poor little Fluffy! This little boy was rescued when his owner went into a nursing home. This little golden-aged fellow sure is lonely without a warm home to be in. Fluffy was so matted that he had to be completely shaved down - now he is bald (Oh no!) Please visit the shelter to see this little man.

Are you looking for the sweetest and most loving dog that will love you back tenfold??? Martini is her name! She is approximately 3 years old now and is long overdue for a permanent home! This little darling loves to be a couch potato and just cuddle up next to you. Her tail is ALWAYS wagging and she is just such a gentle dog with a sweet soul! She is housebroken and loves to play with toys. Martini had a complete temperament evaluation by our dog trainer and did great. She listens very well with a verbal "No" but does need to learn basic obedience. We would recommend crate training to help her acclimate to her new home. Children 12+ would be best only because when she gets excited she can be jumpy. She was found as a stray, so her new owners need to be responsible with keeping the doors shut! Please consider Martini for adoption!

ADOPTED! ROSIE ADOPTED!

This lovely girl was rescued from another shelter. Some mean person cut off her ears, but that just gives her more personality. Rosie LOVES every person she meets, is great with strangers, and is a TOTAL lap dog. This sweet heart is very laid back and would just prefer to cuddle up on a couch with her human companions! Rosie is approximately 5 years old and is now in need of a gentle and loving home. Rosie could benefit from some basic training, but other than that she is basically perfect!
